PROBLEM SOLUTION
Skin ageing - Wrinkles - Drooping face ACULIFTING

Acupuncture, an ancient technique from Chinese medicine, can yield excellent results in aesthetic medicine as well. Facial acupuncture treatments achieve a lifting effect by stimulating tissue revitalization and rejuvenation. Extremely fine needles are strategically inserted at specific points on the face, triggering:

  • - Skin repair
  • - Cell regeneration
  • - Blood microcirculation
  • - Tissue oxygenation
  • - Collagen production

These effects lead to a gradual reduction in superficial wrinkles and an enhancement in facial radiance. This medical therapy is essential for stimulating skin repair processes through needle insertion at facial points. Beyond being an aesthetic medical procedure, facial acupuncture also serves as an ideal solution for overall health improvement. These treatments are painless and typically last around 20 minutes, with about 10 sessions recommended annually.

Psoriasis • Alopecia • Striae Distensae • adiposity • lipomatosis CARBOXYTHERAPY

Carboxytherapy, when used with safe and certified equipment, adheres to all safety standards regarding patient non-toxicity. It is applied in the following medical fields:

  • - Dermatology
  • - Phlebology
  • - Plastic and vascular surgery
  • - Treatment of skin ulcers

It can be combined or integrated with other methods due to its safety and efficacy with reliable equipment. The use of a fine, single-use needle allows for multiple injections to distribute CO2 to various areas. The treatment is minimally invasive, well-tolerated, and typically doesn't require anesthesia or numbing creams.
It's worth noting that the needle puncture can occasionally result in a small local bruise in about 5% of patients, but this typically resolves within a few days without leaving any lasting marks.
The parameters for administering carboxytherapy, such as the rate of administration, quantity, and duration, are adjustable to ensure patient comfort. This treatment can benefit various medical conditions, including:

  • - Localized fat deposits and diffuse lipomatosis
  • - Psoriasis
  • - Venous insufficiency and the treatment of skin ulcers
  • - Male sexual impotence with a vascular basis
  • - Peripheral arteriopathies
  • - Raynaud's disease
  • - Alopecia
  • - Stretch marks (Striae Distensae)
Oxygen deficiency HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY (HBOT)

Our body requires oxygen for its survival. A sustained lack of oxygen can weaken and damage tissues, leading to premature aging, thinning of hair, and even affecting memory. As we age, our cells inevitably become deficient in nutrients, so providing oxygen to our cells is useful for efficient metabolic activity, ensuring health and vitality.

We all know that the air we breathe contains approximately 20.9% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, and small amounts of argon, carbon dioxide, neon, helium, and hydrogen. The air we inhale contains oxygen, which reaches the red blood cells from the lungs. Mitochondria receive more oxygen, thereby increasing energy production.

Under normal conditions, cells absorb only 25% of oxygen into their mitochondria, which are considered the powerhouses of our cells, converting oxygen and nutrients into ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). This is the high-energy molecule that stores and provides energy for our body to function. This process is called aerobic respiration, the primary reason why we breathe oxygen.

The use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) follows precise personalized protocols regarding pressure, duration, and the number of sessions. Creating a customized protocol is simple, and sessions can vary in duration from 60 to 90 minutes. The administration according to preset sequences can involve the use of variable pressures (1-1.5 ATA), with sessions possibly conducted daily for a period ranging from 10 to 30 days.

To draft an HBOT protocol for a user, it is important to first have a medical consultation to determine the feasibility of the cycle for that individual. To use the HBOT chamber, conditions that prohibit such treatment, such as claustrophobia, pneumothorax, significant obstructive lung disease, history of ear surgeries, uncontrolled high fever, chronic sinusitis, and upper respiratory tract infections, must be avoided.

Generally, HBOT is a safe procedure, although some risks can be observed in users, such as middle ear injuries, including fluid leakage and ruptured eardrums, due to increased internal chamber pressure. Temporary visual disturbances (myopia) of the lens, lung collapse due to barotrauma, seizures due to the toxicity of excess oxygen in the central nervous system, and the risk of fire, triggered by the high oxygen content in the chamber, are also potential risks.

Weak immune system • Weak blood circulation OXYGEN-OZONETHERAPY

Oxygen-ozone therapy is an alternative medical practice that involves administering a mixture of oxygen (O2) and ozone (O3) at various concentrations (depending on the method used), through intramuscular or intravenous injections.

This therapy can have beneficial effects on the body, including improving blood circulation, stimulating the immune system, and promoting the healing of certain medical conditions such as chronic pain and inflammation, or for treating viral and bacterial infections. Those considering this therapy should discuss it carefully with our experienced medical professionals and gather sufficient information before embarking on any treatment, in order to tailor the ideal approach for each condition.
Ozone acts by:
- Accelerating the use of glucose by cells, reacting directly with unsaturated fatty acids that are transformed into water-soluble compounds.
- Improving the transport of oxygen to peripheral areas and its release to tissues without toxicity or allergic reactions. It is a highly oxidizing agent and reacts vigorously with organic and inorganic substances. It is important to note its toxicity and the possibility that it may act as a poison.

In nature, it forms:
- In the atmosphere due to electrical discharges (lightning!), which provide the necessary energy for the transformation of a portion of oxygen (O2) into ozone (O3).
- Oxygen is released by plants through the process of photosynthesis, which involves the absorption of CO2 and the release of O2. Ozone has a slightly blue color and a pungent, garlic-like odor.
- It filters out the harmful effects of powerful ultraviolet rays, thus allowing life to exist on our planet.

A molecule of ozone is composed of 3 oxygen atoms and is highly unstable. One of the 3 atoms tends to separate to combine with other molecular structures, returning the oxygen molecule (O2) to its stable original form. Once released into the body, the oxygen-ozone mixture degrades in about 7-9 minutes in the following way: O3 = O2 + O + 29 calories.

In medical therapy, a mixture of oxygen-ozone is always used, with ozone being the active component, although in very small quantities.

Sunspots • Microcirculation problems • Loss of elasticity PRP (platelet-rich plasma)

PRP is obtained by extracting platelets and their growth factors by a simple blood draw, performed in an outpatient setting. The withdrawn blood, placed in a test tube, is immediately centrifuged, and after a few minutes, plasma and platelets are separated from red blood cells and other blood cells. The portion of plasma rich in platelets and growth factors is activated and aspirated, ready to be injected into the areas of the face that are of interest to rejuvenate, such as the periocular region, the cheeks, the neck, or even the décolleté or the back of the hands. The growth factors contained in the platelet-rich plasma stimulate tissue regeneration and the production of new collagen. This generation of collagen gives volume and reduces fine wrinkles giving a younger, healthier appearance. As a rule, three to four initial treatments are performed, spaced about a month apart, followed, for maintenance, by 1 treatment every 6 months.

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is an innovative regenerative medicine treatment obtained through a simple blood draw, significantly increasing platelet concentration compared to normal blood. Over the past two decades, platelet activation has been found to release healing proteins known as growth factors. Tissue repair with PRP is effective with a five-fold increase in platelet concentration, and higher concentrations don't provide additional benefits.

PRP, being autologous, carries no side effects, making it safe for patients with low drug tolerance or allergies. Its effects include improved collagen production, enhanced skin elasticity and hydration, boosted skin cell metabolism, and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Advantages of PRP include its natural procedure using the patient's plasma, maximum bioavailable nutrition, and absence of negative effects. Disadvantages may involve slight bruising and redness due to injections and diminished effectiveness after age 50.

PRP contains blood proteins like vitronectin, fibronectin, and fibrin, which play roles in various health conditions. Preparation for PRP treatment involves avoiding anticoagulants, refraining from other cosmetic procedures on the same day, and following dietary and hydration guidelines.

PRP has found applications in fields such as traumatology, orthopedics, sports medicine, dental and maxillofacial surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, neurology, and neurosurgery due to its regenerative and analgesic properties. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential for optimal results.

reduced sensitivity • rehabilitation after a stroke TMS

Over the past few years, the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for diagnostic purposes has shown an improvement in mood and subsequently in depressive symptoms in individuals. This innovative approach is now considered a significant therapeutic advancement in neuropsychiatry. TMS can induce and regulate neuronal reorganization processes, selectively facilitating or inhibiting specific neural circuits. Its therapeutic value lies in activating or suppressing brain centers associated with various disorders.

As a result, TMS leads to a localized increase in blood flow, enhanced glucose metabolism, and an increase in the concentration of certain neurotransmitters like GABA, Glutamate, and Dopamine. It is particularly recommended for individuals with reduced sensitivity to or side effects from medication, as well as for specific cases like stroke rehabilitation.

In recent years, therapeutic guidelines for TMS have been established based on experimental evidence, covering a range of conditions including pain, movement disorders, stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, tinnitus, depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, and addictions.

Due to the short yet intense magnetic fields used, TMS cannot be performed on pregnant individuals or those with implanted metal objects, such as cerebral aneurysmal clips, implantable brain stimulators, electrodes for monitoring brain activity, metal prostheses in the ears (cochlear implants) or eyes, pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, or fragments of bullets or metal splinters.

Despite all precautions taken, there are certain potential side effects, including infrequent headaches (typically described as mild and sometimes as uncomfortable sensations in the scalp), temporary hearing impairment due to the "click" produced by the short magnetic field (though this risk is almost non-existent with the use of earplugs provided at the start of the procedure), and rare instances of epileptic seizures (convulsions) following electrical stimulation, with an estimated risk of 0.1% (1 in 1000 patients) in normal clinical use.

reduced Cardiovascular disease • Heart attack and strokes prevention HeartSavers

The HeartSavers methodology measures the degree of severity of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in a patient and applies a personalized therapy. As CVD is the largest killer in the world it is crucial to prevent it to achieve healthy ageing.

A high percentage of non-symptomatic people have a degree of severity of the disease that needs to be treated to avoid heart attacks and strokes. This methodology has been thoroughly researched at the University of Minnesota and has been demonstrated in large longitudinal clinical trials.

The diagnostic is composed of about 20 physiological and imaging tests that take in total 1 hour and complemented by a hematological panel. The personalized therapy is then applied to the patient by our cardiologists and the test is applied periodically as a companion diagnostic.

Polluted enviroments • High toxin levels in blood HemoDetox

The HemoDetox blood cleaning therapy is similar to a light version of hemodialysis and targets heavy metals and a variety of nefarious cytokines that maintain systemic inflammation in the body.

The procedure is performed by qualified anesthetists and is repeated periodically in function of the toxin levels in the blood. This is particularly important for people who live in polluted environments and who have a genetic predisposition for difficulty in flushing out toxins or resolving inflammation.

Systemic inflammation and toxification have been shown to be major factors in accelerated ageing.

Wound healing • Increase body oxygenation Hyperbaric Medicine

The variation of oxygen levels under a higher pressure of total air has shown marked effects on the increase of circulating stem cells and vessel formation.

This accelerates also wound healing as more stem cells access tissues in need of repair. The treatment is applied for about one hour a day for two weeks.

Apart from being a stand-alone treatment to increase body oxygenation and wellness, it is very synergistic as a pre-conditioning treatment then a rehabilitation treatment accompanying a regenerative medicine therapy.

Improving of individual factors ReYou Timeless

This methodology tests for a range of genetic, epigenetic, inflammatory, cell and immune senescence factors and applies a personalized intervention based on diet, exercise, supplementation, detox and re-oxygenation of which the goal is to improve the underlying factors individually.

It is an expert system based on published research and the patient is re-tested periodically to adapt the treatment plan. We feel that actively improving the individual factors are more important than to output a “biological age” measure to the patient.
